  • Mmm, smallpox blankets.

So today in the office we're having a potluck thanksgiving feast, yum! I am a religious viewer of the food network and finally getting to eat turkey instead of watch it is something I'm very excited about. It got me thinking though about what I'm thankful for- I'm thankful that Thanksgiving uses the tradition of settlers giving Indians food instead of smallpox blankets. This makes for a much better family holiday, or not, depending on how much you like your family.
In all seriousness though, I'm thankful for
my job (which rocks my socks off)
my friends, who still stick close even though they're scattered across the country
getting apologies that have been a long time coming
and every opportunity I'm given, whether I deserve it or not

    Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
